Celista Estate Winery is a family-run boutique winery on the north shore of Shuswap Lake, just past Scotch Creek in the small community of Celista. Jake and Marg Ootes bought the property in 1995, planted their first vines in 2002, and have built a multi-award-winning estate on their lakeside farm. Beyond the wines, the property is home to an art gallery, Icelandic horses, and guest cabins overlooking the lake.
The winery specializes in cold-climate varieties such as Ortega, Marechal Foch, and Riesling, crafting handcrafted small-lot wines that reflect the conditions of the north shore of Shuswap Lake. The lakeside setting and long summer days give the wines a refreshing, vibrant character.
The estate is located along 2319 Beguelin Road, with hours Daily 10:30am-5:30pm (May-Oct).
Part of the Shuswap wine region. Hours and tasting fees change with the season, so confirm with the winery before you visit.
