Monte Creek Winery

Monte Creek Winery

Monte Creek Winery is one of the largest wineries in the Kamloops area, set on a biodiverse 1,200-acre property that straddles the South Thompson River about ten minutes east of the city. Owned by Sidhu & Sons, who planted the first vines in 2010 and opened to the public in 2015, the estate farms roughly 75 acres of vines and has been certified organic since 2023. Its year-round tasting room and seasonal Terrace restaurant make it a flagship of BC's Thompson Valley appellation.

The portfolio spans cool-climate and hybrid grapes including Riesling, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Merlot, and Pinot Gris, along with fruit wines, each shaped by the terroir of the Thompson Valley north of the Okanagan. The Thompson Valley is BC's emerging wine frontier, where a handful of pioneering producers are proving that quality grapes can thrive in this northern climate. The region's continental conditions, with warm summers and cold winters, produce wines with bright acidity and surprising depth.

The estate is located along 2420 Miner's Bluff Road, with hours Open year-round.

Part of the Thompson Valley wine region. Hours and tasting fees change with the season, so confirm with the winery before you visit.
