Observatory Wines

Observatory Wines is one of Summerland's most distinctive boutique wineries, perched above Okanagan Lake with some of the best views in the valley. Founded by Blair Gillingham, a winemaker with over two decades of experience, starting at Sumac Ridge Winery in 2001, Observatory crafts small-lot wines from carefully selected vineyard sources across BC. Blair's approach is intentional and unhurried: each wine reflects a specific place, vintage, and story.

The winery's portfolio spans an impressive range of varieties, with Pinot Noir, Gewurztraminer, and Pinot Blanc among the flagship offerings, complemented by Sparkling Wine, Grüner Veltliner, Grüner.

The estate is located along 21606 Bridgeman Rd, with hours Friday-Sunday 11am-5pm.
