Fort Berens Estate Winery is Lillooet's first winery, forged on the road less travelled along the Fraser River at the foot of the Coast Mountains. Honouring the St'át'imc people who are the original stewards of this land, Fort Berens crafts wines that express the unique terroir of BC's newest wine region.
The portfolio centres on Merlot, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, and Riesling, each shaped by the terroir of the dramatic Fraser Canyon near Lillooet. Lillooet's extreme terrain, steep canyon walls, intense summer heat, and mineral-rich soils, makes it one of BC's most distinctive and challenging growing environments. The wines that emerge carry the unmistakable stamp of mountain viticulture.
The estate is located along 1881 Highway 99 North.
